Is the St Lawrence event still just a singles or is it a sponsor day as discussed earlier this year? In other words can someone join us for a fee?

IF a member were to bring a sponsor onboard that would donate to the club, that member is entitled to take the sponsor out for a days fishing as a gratitude to them and the member would then get an extra stick in the boat. This is not a mandatory prerequisite to fish the event, it is just an option for that day.    The launch will be from Grass Creek Park.

Could you possibly post what would be a suitable amount of a sponsorship to the club to be able to fish the event.

Here is the deal for the singles event on the 30th.... the only club members that have brought a sponsor to the club are Mark Stoughton and myself. That being said, neither Mark or I are taking a sponsor with us for the event. So, the whole controversy on having two people in the boat for the event is a non issue and no one will be at a disadvantage! Forget it was mentioned untill the next club meeting in the winter and lets have an enjoyable singles event on the St Lawrence next weekend!

The tournament commitee would like to change the blast off time to 6:30am on Saturday to get ahead of the CBAF qualifier that has at least 30 boats taking off from Gananoque at 7am the same day!   Hopefully we can get the word out to all competitors that are planning to fish the event.  Please post a reply to let us know that you have seen this post ASAP!   Sorry for the short notice but we feel it would be nicer to go to your first spot and be able to fish it!
